Car Seat Safety Program

Family Connections provides families in the community with guidance on the correct selection, installation, and use of child safety seats to help keep children safe while traveling.

Two Family Connections staff members are Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians (CPSTs). They have completed specialized training and earned certification through the Safe Kids Worldwide Child Passenger Safety Certification Program, administered in partnership with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). This certification equips them to provide families with expert guidance on the proper selection, installation, and use of child safety seats.
